Dr. Mike Hagley
Dr. Mike Hagley, a native of northern Minnesota, grew up in Bovey, MN. He attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and successfully completed the program in 1979. Upon graduation, he returned home and began his career working with a dentist in Deer River, MN. In 1983, Dr. Hagley moved his practice to Grand Rapids, where he currently provides professional dentistry in a state-of-the-art facility.
Continuing education is a top priority for Dr. Hagley. He believes in the importance of continual growth and improvement for himself and every member of his team. He actively pursues continuing education above and beyond that which is required for licensure, and he has studied at the Dental Implant Institute, the prestigious Dawson Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and he has completed two years of coursework at the United States Dental Institute. His advanced training and experience encompasses a broad range of dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, oral surgery, full-mouth reconstruction, endodontics (root canals), and periodontics (gum care).
An active member of the Grand Rapids community, Dr. Hagley regularly volunteers his time with local and national civic organizations. He has participated with the Deer River Jaycees, and he had a founding role in the Deer River Ducks Unlimited. His positions have included Director of the Timberman Triathlon, Campaign Chair for the 1998 United Way of 1000 Lakes campaign, dental liaison for Headstart and Children First, IMCare board member, and Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 44. Dr. Hagley is a past participant and proud graduate of the Blandin Community Leadership program and is a member of the Community Presbyterian Church where has served the congregation as an Elder and a Trustee.
An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Hagley enjoys the natural beauty of northern Minnesota and all of the recreational opportunities it offers. Together with wife, Mary, and children, Michael and Sarah, he spends his free time fishing, water skiing, biking, hunting, cross-country skiing, and wood working.

Dr. Hagley has served as Secretary/Treasurer, Program Chair, 1st Vice President, and President of the Northeastern District Dental Society, which is a regional affiliate of the Minnesota Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Deann - Scheduling Coordinator / Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant
Deann is a native of Grand Rapids. She attended UMD and graduated from St. Cloud VoTech as a Dental Assistant in 1981. She brings over 30 years of dental experience! Deann is the first person you will meet when entering the office. She loves getting together with her family and friends, traveling, going to Gopher Hockey, and spending time with her golden retriever.

Heidi - Scheduling Coordinator / Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant
Heidi is our Scheduling Coordinator and Receptionist. She has been employed by Dr. Hagley since 1996. Like all of our team members, Heidi has enjoyed taking extensive continuing education courses. She is married, and has two children. Heidi enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, and watching her children’s sporting events.

Colleen - Business Manager / Financial Coordinator / Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant
Colleen is our Business Manager and Financial Coordinator. She has been in the dental field for 28 years. Colleen spent 8 years assisting Dr. Hagley at chairside and our Business Manager since 2001. Colleen coordinates the financial plans that help patients achieve strong, healthy, beautiful smiles. She is married and has two children. She enjoys camping, fishing, and walking. She is involved with Assembly of God church in Hill City.

Trisha - Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant and Expanded Restorative Function Auxiliary
Trisha is a 1994 graduate of Hibbing Technical College in Dental Assisting. In 2007, she received her expanded functions training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Upon completion of this course of study, she is licensed to place restorations on the teeth that have been prepared by the dentist. She has worked for Dr. Hagley since 1994. In our office, Trish assists Dr. Hagley, places restorations, orders supplies, does lab work, and sterilization. She is married and has two children. Trish enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, horseback riding, camping, and spending time with family.

Connie - Licensed/Registered Dental Hygienist
Connie graduated from Normandale Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1990. She has been working for Dr. Hagley since 2003. Prior to working for Dr. Hagley she worked in offices in the Duluth area. She enjoys spending time with her family and at the lake.
"What I like most about my job is getting to know the patients. I really enjoy talking with them about dental issues but also about personal issues or life in general. I feel that to give the best care possible, it is good to know what is going on in a person’s life, in order to provide care that is right for them."
Michelle- Licensed/Registered Dental Hygienist
Michelle graduated from Lake Superior with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. She began working as a part of our team in June 2014. She is married and has a one daughter. Michelle enjoys golfing, fishing, camping, reading, spending time with her family and new grand baby.

Ashley - Registered Dental Hygienist
Ashley graduated from St. Cloud Technical and Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2013. Prior working for Dr.Hagley, Ashley worked in dental offices in Hibbing and Bigfork. Ashley enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with family.

Bryanna - Certified Medical Assistant
Bryanna graduated in 2008 from the Career Academy in medical assisting. She has worked in a variety of medical facilities from surgical to family practices. Bryanna started working at Grand Rapids Dental Care in the summer of 2017. She helps out in the front office, insurance, sterilizations, as well as assisting. She grew up in Alaska so she loves being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with her family.
