Cosmetic Bonding
Bonding is a cosmetic procedure that can improve the appearance of teeth that are chipped, broken, cracked, stained, or have spaces between them. With bonding, a tooth-colored composite resin is applied to the tooth’s surface. A curing lamp hardens the material, so Dr. Hagley can sculpt and polish the material into the desired shape. Bonding can improve unsightly stains from coffee, tea, tobacco or medications, as well as close chips and gaps, protect tooth roots, close spaces, and repair chips and breaks. In most cases, teeth can be bonded in just one visit without the need for anesthesia.
