We are very proud of our caring, dedicated, knowledgeable, experienced and friendly team of professionals. Everyone who works in our office is a licensed dental assistant, dental hygienist, or dentist. Together we have over 164 years of combined experience. Our goal is to consistently provide comfortable care of the highest quality. We strive to connect with our patients in a meaningful way and to help them achieve their dental health goals. We hope to build relationships that will last a lifetime.

Nicole - Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant and Expanded Restorative Function Auxiliary.

Nicole graduated from Century College in 2000. Nicole has practiced 4 years in orthodontics and 6 years in general dentistry. In 2011, she completed her Expanded Functions training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. By completing the course, she is licensed to place restorations on teeth that have been prepared by the dentist. She enjoys camping and spending time with friends and family. Nicole assists Dr.Hagley, does lab work, sterilization and helps with front desk duties.

Mylynn - Licensed/Registered Dental Hygienist.

Having a father who is a dentist, she has been working in a dental office since high school. Mylynn enjoys being on the lake with her husband and children. They are happiest out-of-doors.
"I feel that people will take better care of their bodies when they understand how they function. By cleaning people’s teeth and educating them about the oral/general health connection, I enjoy knowing they will be healthier in the long run. I love my job just as much or more than when I started in 1993."

Connie - Licensed/Registered Dental Hygienist.

Connie graduated from Normandale Community College Dental Hygiene program in 1990. Her first job was in Duluth, MN at Piedmont Dental. She worked there until 2003. She also worked at Dr. Madison’s office in Duluth from 2001- 2003. She began working at Grand Rapids Dental Care in December 2003. Connie has two children, a 14 year old son in 8th grade and a daughter who is 12 years old in 7th grade. Her son plays soccer in the summer and hockey in the winter. Her daughter plays soccer in the summer and is in dance. Besides being a chauffeur for her kids she loves being outdoors doing yard work, fishing, or grouse hunting. Connie is a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church. As a hygienist, Connie cleans teeth, places sealants, does fluoride treatments, and educates patients. Most of all she likes to get to know her patients on a more personal level and learn to understand their concerns and help them reach their optimal dental health.
"What I like most about my job is getting to know the patients. I really enjoy talking with them about dental issues (of course) but also about personal issues or life in general. I feel that to give the best care possible, it is good to know what is going on in a person’s life in order to provide care that is right for them."

Heidi - Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant.

Heidi is our Scheduling Coordinator and Receptionist. She has been employed by Dr.Hagley since 1996. Prior to working at Grand Rapids Dental Care, Heidi worked for dental offices in Park Rapids and in the Twin Cities. She graduated from H.A.V.I with a degree in dental assisting. Like all of our team members, Heidi has enjoyed taking extensive continuing education courses. Heidi enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, and watching her children’s sporting events.

Colleen - Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant.

Colleen is our Business Manager and Financial Coordinator. Colleen’s a 1982 June graduate of Brainerd Tech. She has been in the dental field for 28 years. Colleen spent 8 years assisting Dr. Hagley at chairside and the past 10 years being our business manager. She is married to Jim and has two children, a daughter in college and a son in high school. She enjoys watching her kids sporting events, camping, fishing, walking, and working on her MARY KAY business. She is involved with Assembly of God Church in Hill City. Colleen coordinates the financial plans that help patients achieve strong, healthy, beautiful smiles.

Trisha - Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant and Expanded Restorative Function Auxiliary.

Trish is a 1994 graduate of Hibbing Technical College in Dental Assisting. In 2007 she received her Expanded Functions training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Upon completion of this course of study she is licensed to place restorations on teeth that have been prepared by the dentist. She has worked for Dr.Hagley for 15 ½ years. She has a husband and two children. Trish enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, horseback riding, camping, and spending time with family. In our office, Trish assists at chair-side, places restorations, orders supplies, does lab work and sterilization. "What I like most about my job is transforming patient’s smiles, boosting their self-esteem, and helping patients that need help. I also enjoy working with such great people!"

Erica - Licensed/Registered Dental Assistant.

Erica graduated in 2008 from Hibbing Technical College in Dental Assisting. She has continued her education, taking classes at ICC. Currently she is taking classes online. Erica interned in our office while she was in school and everyone begged Dr Hagley to hire her, so he did! Erica assists Dr.Hagley, cleans children’s teeth, does lab work, sterilization and helps with the front desk. Erica had a baby girl in March and enjoys spending time with her and her family.
